Annie Riordan, age 22 (full name Eurwen Anima Teague-Riordan, but never call her that).

Deck-born Spade, currently a Five of Spades and Suit exterminator with no desire to rise further. She gets her work done. She sleeps. She cares for her snakes. She sleeps.

Jimmy, the elder brother, is deceased. Martin, the younger brother, has yet to challenge past his sister.

Her parents divorced when she was ten, and she left the Deck with her father and her brother Jimmy. She returned alone to the Spades at 17 for reasons unknown.

At ages 13 to 16, she had been in a coma. Few people know or care.
